I can’t help comparing Willa to the other Kwanzan Cherry trees in the neighborhood. I think she’s still alive. I hope she’s still alive. I have three reasons to try not to worry:
1. Dave tells me this isn’t unusual (See my question in the comments)
So, I wait and watch.

It’s still alive. I definitely see a green bud on the branch there. With younger transplants, they are typically a bit delayed in budding out for the year, plus who knows how the warmth/shade/etc. it has gotten compares to the others.
