I returned to work on Aug 22 and I haven’t had the energy for much else. But working again is a good thing. It’s far better than I thought it would be. It simply takes more energy than I ever thought a desk job could. I’m confident I will get stronger and stronger and eventually be able to do something besides sleep on week nights… Like communicate with family and friends. In the meantime, please know I’m doing well and thinking of you.
Also… If you ever return to work after seven months of being sick, starting out part-time is definitely the way to go. I did half days for the first week and a half. Last week I pulled eight-hour days, but Monday was a holiday. I’m a big believer in baby steps.
